Our strainer baskets use exceptionally large screen areas and streamlined flow passages to reduce pressure drop and help extend the time between basket cleaning. When maintenance is required, operators can loosen the cover bolts, remove the cover and lift out the basket.

Standard 40 mesh screen, with 4, 10, 20, 80 and special mesh options available on request.
Closure Options
Swing bolt hinged closure for Model D up to 300 psi, and davit-style closure for Model C from 720 to 1440 psi.
Basket Design
Carbon steel perforated plate with 5/16 in. diameter holes on 3/8 in. staggered centers and 65% open area.
Connections
Carbon steel raised face flanges per ANSI B16.5, 1-1/2 in. NPT air vent and 1/2 in. NPT basket differential pressure taps.
Optional Features
Strainer baskets can be configured with inspection, closure, venting, monitoring and basket options to match the service environment.
- Pressure vessel options: ANSI B31.4 with x-ray inspection, ANSI B31.3 or ASME Section VIII.
- Closure and seals: spring assist for hinged closure, Viton O-ring and pressure alert valve.
- Monitoring: automatic air venting, differential pressure gauge packages and remote indication with reed switch.
- Basket options: 10 mesh 304 stainless steel start-up liner and special perforated carbon steel or 304 stainless steel baskets.
